VeriSign has a presumptive right of renewal on the .com contract, but I demand
ICANN to explain where it is stipulated that VeriSign has any right for an
early contract renewal! They do not, and this contract should not be renewed
early. If the contract is renewed early, every registry currently in existence
would have legal grounds for suing ICANN for not allowing them to participate
in a bid on an EARLY contract renewal, which is not a presumptive right
VeriSign has. If the contract is to be renewed early, every registry needs to
be given a formal and proper opportunity to bid on operating the .com namespace.
Thank you.
