The Northcountry Cooperative Development Fund, a CDFI that provides
loans and other assistance to a range of small and medium-sized
consumer, worker, agricultural and housing cooperatives across eleven
states in the Upper Midwest, supports the renewal of the .COOP top-level
domain in November 2006.
NCDF and its members use .COOP. Though .COOP is a new TLD, it is already
a symbol that unites cooperative communities in the United States and
abroad. With continued use in web and email addresses, .COOP will gain
recognition, further strengthening the cooperative identity.
Please take into consideration the need for, and value of, .COOP TLD,
and NCDF's support of its renewal.
