EOI

I'd like to add my comments regarding the EOI process. First, let me state that 
I wholeheartedly support the decision to add new gTLD's to the Internet. I 
think the timing is perfect, if not over due. I have read the information 
available to me on ICANN's website regarding the new gTLDs (DAG, etc). Most of 
the risks listed in the EOI proposal should be resolved in the DAG4 that is 
required to be published before the EOI process begins.

The advantages of new gTLD's far outweigh any perceived risks. Furthermore the 
Implementation Recommendation Team (IRT) that consists of lawyers and experts 
in trademark issues has already detailed many recommendations for the 
advancement of new gTLDs. There is no reason why any outstanding issues 
shouldn't be resoled in a timely manner (a few months).
