Dear All,

As you may recall, the Charter of the WG states that 'the Working Group should 
[...] report back to the GNSO Council within 90 days following the end of the 
ICANN meeting in Mexico City' which, if I counted well, means a deadline of 
Thursday 4 June. In order to facilitate the development of this status update, 
staff has worked with Greg to develop a first draft which you will find 
attached for your review. The update consists of five different sections: 
background; working group charter; the working group; activities to date, and; 
expected timing and next steps. Please feel free to share your comments / 
suggestions with the mailing list and/or provide edits to the attached 
document. The aim would be to finalize the status update and have it approved 
at the next meeting of the RAP WG on Monday 1 June.
