Disapproval of settlement...

On behalf of Gig Avenue, I would like to make it known that I object
to this settlement between the ICANN and Verisign.  We only have over
a thousand or so domains that we work with and are strongly opposed to
this settlement given that our customers will not benefit from any
price increase for domain name registration.  The operational cost of
administering and maintaining the records associated with a domain
name is declining with plummeting disk and bandwidth prices.  To think
that the operational cost of this would increase is disingenuous, at
best.  With the "site finder" service that Verisign launched in the
past, we're hard pressed to believe that any price increase would
result in a service that benefits our customers or our customer's
customers.  Please renegotiate this settlement.  -sc
