Stop Bickering over the Settlement
Together, ICANN and VeriSign have dependably kept websites accessible and running properly. Why are people concerned with the agreement between these two organizations when there are much bigger things to worry about, such as Kofi Annan hiring a Chinese Communist Party official to lead the Internet Regulation Task Force? This agreement is minuscule compared to what is really at stake. We should stop bickering over it and realize that it could actually free up ICANN to prevent the UN from controlling the Internet.
