If the decision to pass or reject the .xxx proposition is based on adult community opinions/votes, then Mr. Lawley must be excluded from having any voice in the matter.
He has stated that he is not a part of the adult community, and as such, should have no say. If Mr. Lawley has a rightful say, then any and all opinions, no matter their association, should be considered..

Further, common sense logic could be easily applied to realize that the .xxx proposal is totally without merit as follows:

1. .xxx is supposed to protect children from adult content... Will it accomplish this? No ... Why? Because Mr. Lawley says that no one will be forced to us .xxx, and that they will fight to keep laws from being passed to force it's use... This being the case, what is the point?

2. .xxx is supposed to help the adult webmasters show that they are responsible by using the tld. Will it accomplish this? No ... Why? Because Mr. Lawley wants to charge an outrageous amount for registration so he can take part of it to place in another of his accounts... That being IFFOR.. And webmasters will have no real reason to go this route in that they have 1000's of .com domains already in existence... and they can get .com/.net domains for 1/10th of the cost.. It's ridiculous to think they are all going to just give their domain/sites up for such nonsense.

For someone who has stated that they have no interest in the adult industry, or being part of it, Mr. Lawley sure is determined to take control of it. For what reason? To protect children? (Already shown that it won't)... To bring the adult community together into one big happy neighborhood? (Already shown that it won't)..

What's left behind this determination? It's all about lining the pockets of the greedy while they try to use children as their purpose.

It will be a sad day if it is determined by ICANN that the .xxx tld is needed for any practical purpose.
