Dear Hunter, This is a rather complex question. Neither of the .nom applicants,
nor the .i applicant has impressed me with their solutions. WHy not bring in a statistician
to study the problem at hand and propose a solution? A personal registry, for all
is obvious attractiveness, will by definition bring with it its own truck load of
such problems.
Using numbers/nick names is a rather hateful solution. I'd hate
to have Erica2567.nom/.i as my domain.
