I agree that this regions are arbitary. ICANN needs to take a step back and ask for comments on the regions first (perhaps via an alpha version) Re. Middle East - since I have worked in development information, the Middle East has always been classed seperately or together with North Africa. Africa has always referred to sub-Saharan Africa. A similar issue arises with grouping the Pacific with Asia, a real problem for Pacific Island states. I do not feel confident to speak regarding the Caucuses.. Mark Perkins
