With regard to the Whois report that is currently open for public comment:

Ironically, both the proposed policy and Melbourne IT's objection to it
are grounded on what is "good for the consumer/registrant." We should
develop our own opinion on this and submit a comment by May 12th. Please
drop any comments to me and/or the list, and I will try to draft something
up for discussion purposes in advance by tomorrow.
