[board-09georegionswg] Scheduling the First Meeting of the Geographic Regions Review Working Group

Dear Working Group Members;

Thank you all very much for responding to the Doodle Scheduling tool.  We have 
not yet been able to identify a day and time where we can have 100% member 
participation.  I discussed the matter with Dave Archbold today and we agreed 
on sharing the following suggestions with you:


 1.  We should do everything possible to ensure that the first meeting of the 
WG has 100% volunteer participation. Every member should have the opportunity 
to share their thoughts and expectations with the group at one time.
 2.  Subsequent working group meetings could be scheduled as long as we can get 
at least one rep from each SO-AC on the call.
 3.  Given the calendar and the difficulty of getting the first meeting 
together, a reasonable WG goal would appear to be to have a draft charter 
developed and posted for community comment in a public comment forum before the 
Board meeting in Mexico City.

Please share your thoughts on these concepts with the group on this approach. 
Dave should also feel free to expand on, correct or reinforce any of these 
suggestions.  I will create another scheduling poll and circulate it for your 
review and participation.
