Comments on Cyber Safety committee petition
In reviewing this proposal, it appears that this would be a potential venue for a minority group to exercise great leverage and regulation over the cyber community. The current process in place by ICANN offers mechanisms by which cyber safety concerns can be aired and properly considered. The structure of the committees proposed here does not allow equal participation by all interested parties to be weighed. I strongly urge ICANN to reject this petition based on fundamental flaws in the proposal that would favor special interests over the greater good. Paul DiCaprio |
