Points from the CyberSafety Constituency (CSC) Charter [1] Contrasted
with the BYLAWS FOR INTERNET CORPORATION FOR ASSIGNED NAMES AND
NUMBERS [2]

"1.2 Mission. ... protection and safety" - ICANN does not include these
functions in its mission.

"the CSC will ... advocat[e] that ICANN ... should not unduly impair
the lawful rights of governments and other organizations of authority" -
Numerous sovereign governments and spiritual organizations make efforts,
sometimes of lethal magnitude, in opposition to ICANN core values of
"creativity, innovation, and flow of information."

"1.4 Guiding Principles for Leaders, Representatives, and Members. The
CSC is committed to: ...
1.4.4 ... maintaining good community standing" - In their opposition to
ICANN core values, the governments and organiztions mentioned above
suppress their opponents by public denouncement and criminal
prosecution.

"2.2.1 The CSC Chair (Chair) shall:
a. Organize and conduct ... a meeting of all CSC Members during the
ICANN public meetings on a day selected by the EC to maximize the CSC?s
potential to influence GNSO Council and ICANN Board decisions" - A
meeting dominated by the CSC opposes the ICANN core value of
"reflecting the functional, geographic, and cultural diversity of the
Internet at all levels of policy development and decision-making."

"c. ... request the Membership to replace any member of the EC ... who
prevents the execution of tasks and duties required by this Charter" -
The CSC will attempt to remove opponents of their policies even if the
opponents act according ICANN core value by "making decisions by
applying documented policies neutrally and objectively, with integrity
and fairness."

"2.2.3 The Secretary/Treasurer shall: ...
b. Seek sources of support from ICANN" - The CSC will burden ICANN
financially.

"5.1.2 Ineligible Organizations. An organization is not eligible to be
a CSC Member if it: ...
b. Exists as an association of, or for the benefit of, commercial
entities (even if it is non-profit in form), such as industry trade
associations" - The CSC violates ICANN core value of "depending on
market mechanisms to promote and sustain a competitive environment."

"9.1.1 Recruiting Emphasis. Particular emphasis in recruiting should be
focused on increasing representation from: ...
b. Countries, communities, and areas characterized by recent access to
the Internet, unsophisticated or economically challenged users, large
generational gaps in technological knowledge and skills, and lack of
political clout;
c. A variety of disciplines of study and research, including without
limitation technology, law, social science, information policy,
governance, law enforcement, political science and privacy, especially
those disciplines that have been traditionally under-represented in
ICANN structures;" - The CSC intends to dominate ICANN with a
membership unable to fulfill the Corporation's mission, which is
"related to ... technical functions."
