hi all,

the weekly status report is attached.  all fine.  there's a new version of the 
report and the appendices out on the wiki for your review.  all hail Jorg and 
Warren for their great comments (mostly incorporated -- i've put comments in 
places where i either didn't put things in or put them in "for discussion").   
also a big shout-out to Julie Hammer for coming up with the way to lay out all 
the cool new pictures in the report (she broke the "how do we put stuff on one 
page" logjam).  new drafts can be found here (they're getting pretty big, be
