hi all,

here's the slightly late status report for last week.  all is good -- but the 
group is very close to consensus on the report draft so please take a look at 
the version i've just posted to the wiki (Version 10) as that's the one we'll 
take a look at on Thursday.  those of us on the call last Thursday arrived at 
consensus on the report -- so this is the time to take that final look and 
raise any final nagging issues.  here's a link to the "report drafts" page on
