In response to the posting on your website (at
http://www.icann.org/en/announcements/announcement-11nov09-en.htm), I am
writing to comment on the proposed Expressions of Interest process. In
brief, I agree with ICANN that the new gTLD process, is “complex and
involved process that requires the coordination and consensus of many groups
and factions;” however, it is time to end revision after revision of the
Draft Applicant Guidebook and proceed with ultimately awarding new gTLDs. I
encourage ICANN to move with all due speed utilizing a fully transparent EOI
process.
