Hi Julie,

Most happy to participate. Will be there.

In fact, would be happy to join the drafting team too if that is appropriate.

Edmon

Subject: Invite to Participate in Cross-Community Working Group Session in Dakar

Dear Edmon,

On behalf of Jonathan Robinson and the Cross-Community Working Group Drafting
Team (CCWG-DT), I would like to invite you to participate in the public session
of the CCWG-DT at the meeting in Dakar, Senegal. As you know, the GNSO Council
established the CCWG-DT to develop a proposed framework under CWGs can
effectively function and approved the CCWG-DT’s Charter on 06 October 2011. In
its public session in Dakar the CCWG-DT will cover the background of the WG,
mission and scope, goals and objectives, and some draft principles to be
discussed.

In addition, we thought it would be helpful to hear from someone who has
participated in cross-community working groups. Since you have been active in
at least two of these groups —the JIG and the IRD-WG — we thought you could
provide a unique perspective. We would be looking for brief, informal comments
that would help to inform the discussion. Here are the details on the session:

When: 27 October 2011 0830-1000 Dakar/UTC (0130 PDT/0430 EDT)
Where and Other Details: Salon Vert and remote access at:
http://dakar42.icann.org/node/26991

We realize this is short notice and that your schedule may not permit you to
attend, but if you can participate for even just a portion of the meeting that
would be extremely helpful.

Thank you very much for your consideration.

Best regards,

Julie
