Dear Amr,

Thank you for your good wishes, your contributions to the group and your
presentation of the motion to the Council. Also for outlining below the map of
where it's all going now.

We're certainly grateful to Lars, Julie, Mary, Marika, Glen and Nathalie. I
fear I'm missing people out.

With all best wishes,

Chris.

Hi,

Thanks to everyone for all the hard work, and particularly Chris and Rudi for
leading this work throughout both the charter drafting phase as well as the
working group. I sincerely hope our work will contribute to making end-to-end
internationalised domain name registration services a reality.

As always…, a great thanks to both the GNSO secretariat and policy staff teams
for the awesome support they have provided us throughout this endeavour.
Couldn’t have done it without you.

On another note, regarding the implementation review team (IRT); The working
group recommendations are published for yet another public comment period in
preparation for the ICANN board to adopt them
(https://www.icann.org/public-comments/transliteration-contact-recommendations-2015-06-29-en).
Should the board adopt the recommendations following the public comment
period, the GNSO Council should at that point in accordance with its own
adopted motion form an IRT to work with ICANN staff to implement the
recommendations. I look forward to that happening over the next few months.

Thanks again to all.

Amr
