But since the second sentence of Question 4 is a non sequitur, I suggest
that the first sentence be dropped.

Jeff: Thanks for doing all this work; these questions should make for a
very interesting discussion on Tuesday.
I would like to propose changing "some" to "many" in question 4. Based
on the research of TF2, and published in its appendix in March of last
year, there are many ICANN-accredited registrars based in countries of
the EU and other regions with comprehensive privacy legislation. These
include 12 registrars in the UK, 11 in Germany, 10 in Canada, 7 in
France, 4 in Spain, 3 in Israel and 2 in Italy (March 04). Of the top
111 registrars, 49 are based in such countries -- that constitutes
"many" to me.
For those who have not seen the very comprehensive spreadsheet on data
protection laws worldwide (based on registrar countries), I will be
recirculating it this weekend, with some discussion and explanation. I
think it might be useful to Maria and others.
