Dear colleauges,
I have spent some time reviewing our past work, and our future work items. I am
nominating two individuals from the Task Force who have, I believe,
demonstrated strong leadership, who have made numerous substantive and process
contributions to the work of the TF, who are both highly respected attorneys in
the respective areas, and who have repeatedly contributed to the TF by dratfing
and even often working collaboratively on TF assignments.
There is a need for the tF members to have confidence in the chairs
understanding and familiarity of the issues as defined in the ToR, to be aware
of the past and pending work (pending with Board and Council actions). And have
a strong understanding of the ToR and remaining work unnder the ToR.
I am therefore nominating Kathy Kleinman and Steve Metalitz. These two
individuals bridge the different perspectives within the TF, offering a
combined ability to provide the needed process leadership and management to
move work forward.
Their commitment to work is well known within the TF and their professionalism
and willingness to do "heavy lifting", so to speak, will serve the Task Force
well as it moves into the rest of the ToR work.
I have spoken separately to both to advise them of my nomination of the two as
equal co-chairs.
Is there a second to this nomination of co-chairs?
Regards,
Marilyn Cade
