[gnso-idncctlds-wg] Version 2 of Comments Document
I accepted Olof's edits to create version 2 of the draft GNSO Comments on the ccNSO-GAC Issues Paper regarding IDN ccTLDs. This is now the current version to use for future work. So far Olof is the only one who has responded. As previously requested, I would sincerely appreciate it if everyone would do a quick review of the document and comment on this list regarding the general approach and format. Please do so not later than this week so that we can then move on to discussion of possible content edits next week. Assuming that there are no major disagreements regarding general approach and format, I would like to propose the following schedule: Monday, 30 August - start of one week period for all group members to prepare redlined versions of the document containing suggested content edits, comments, etc. Monday, 6 August - deadline for each member to submit redlined versions to the list: * Everyone should use the attached version of the document for making edits and comments (v2, 25 Jul 07). * Individual redlined versions should be saved as "ccNSO-GAC Issues Paper re IDN ccTLDs - GNSO Comments - (Insert member name and date). * Redlined versions should be sent to the list not later than Monday, 6 August. Tuesday, 7 August to Friday, 17 August - Email discussion of member edits and comments * Members should feel free to respond on the list to any edits or comments made by other members. * Chuck will try to facilitate and lead online discussion toward reaching rough consensus. August 20-24: Hold a teleconference if needed to finalize the draft document. August 27: Submit final draft to GNSO Council. Please communicate any concerns or improvements you have to this schedule. For everyone's information, here is the current list of group members: Avri Doria (observer) Belal Beirm (BC) Chuck Gomes (RyC) Mark McFadden (ISCPC) Mawaki Chango (observer, NCUC) Olof Nordling (ICANN policy support) Sophia Bekele (Nomcom rep) Tan Tin Wee (NCUC) Yoav Keren (RC) Chuck Gomes "This message is intended for the use of the individual or entity to which it is addressed, and may contain information that is privileged, confidential and exempt from disclosure under applicable law.
