Hi all,
the letter includes the following: " With regard to the latter, it is the GAC's
understanding that the Board sought and obtained outside legal advice
confirming the GAC's findings that the IOC and Red Cross/Red Crescent names
enjoy both levels of protection."
Did somebody see this document? And who gave the Board the legal advice which
confirmed the GACs findings?

I just came across this letter, dated 28 November, from the GAC to the GNSO
Council regarding the protection of IOC and Red Cross/Red Crescent names and
IGOs more generally.
