Dear All,

As discussed during yesterday's meeting, please find attached the proposed
final language of the EAC and FAQ for inclusion in the Final Report. With
regard to the comments submitted by Barbara yesterday (see
http://forum.icann.org/lists/gnso-irtp-b-jun09/msg00734.html):

 * "The registries could agree to the 5 day turn around for undoing a
transfer" - The EAC refers to section 6 of the IRTP in relation to the
requirements for a transfer-undo. Section 6 of the IRTP states that 'The
Registry Operator must undo the transfer within five (5) calendar days of
receipt of the notice', so I don't think there is a need for further changes to
the EAC to address this issue.
 * "It should not be up to the registry operators to reset the domain name to
its original state. Instead, the registries would be willing to update the
registrar of record to its previous state and once that is done, the registrar
of record would be responsible for resetting the other information such as name
servers." - Section 6 of the IRTP states that in case of a transfer-undo 'the
transfer will be reversed and the domain name reset to its original state'. It
seems that the registry request differs from what is current practice in
relation to a transfer-undo. Is there support from the WG for this proposal
from the RySG? If yes, is this something that can be included as part of the
implementation notes? If you don't support this proposal, please explain why.

If you have any other objections or concerns, please share these with the
mailing list ahead of next week's IRTP Part B WG meeting, otherwise the WG will
assume there is consensus regarding the language in the attached documents.

With best regards,

Marika
