[gnso-irtpc] Action items IRTP Part C
Dear All, As discussed during yesterday's meeting, please find attached for final review the public comment review tool. I've updated the document to reflect yesterday's discussions as well as cleaned up some of the text. If you have any comments / edits, please share those with the mailing list ahead of next week's meeting. With regard to the open discussion items resulting from the review of the public comments, I've identified the following: Recommendation #1 1. Document a visual representation of the transfer process [Note: in progress. If you are interested in participating in this effort, see http://forum.icann.org/lists/gnso-irtpc/msg00342.html] 2. Further consideration of the proposed change of registrant policy and suggested restrictions for a change of registrar immediately following a change of registrant (should there be a 60 day restriction, should both parties be allowed to opt out of 60 day transfer restriction, or should default be no restrictions and leave it optional for registrar to offer additional protections?) 3. Further consideration of which updates constitute a change of ownership taking into account comments #5, #6 and #12 4. Further consideration of how to address fixing mistakes (i.e. Spelling error) as part of the change of registrant policy 5. Should policy apply equally to registrar / resellers (I.e. Change of registrant within a registrar / reseller or in combination with a change of registrar)? 6. Should change of registrant policy be separate from IRTP or combined with the IRTP? 7. Further consideration of whether there should be different provisions for when it concerns an organization or company instead of an individual that requests the change 8. Revisit the use of 'primary contact method' on page 23 of the Initial Report 9. Further consideration of the use of the AuthInfo code as the Change of Registrant Credential to validate the authorization of the Registrant to effect the change Recommendation #2 10. WG to review Transfer process and how AthInfo codes and FOA influence the transfer process as well as the process differences between change of registrant and change of registrar If there are any other issues / topics, please feel free to add. You are encouraged to start discussion these open items on the mailing list. Please indicate clearly in the subject line which open item your comments concern.
