  J. Scott Evans:I am waiting on an operator

  J. Scott Evans:I should be in momentarily

Mary Wong:Eric, we'll see if we can do that.

  Amr Elsadr:@J. Scott: Me too.

teleconference specialist!

  Michael:Yah, me too.

  Wolf Knoben:+1

  Amr Elsadr:Just joined the call.

  Alan Greenberg:On now

Marika Konings:To be fair, that was a different provider ;-)

Amr Elsadr:Audio is breaking up a bit today.

  Amr Elsadr:Static too.

Amr Elsadr:Cheryl is the only one who sounds great!! :)

  EnCirca - Tom Barrett:i'm here

  Michael:Something about Australian Bell.

Phil Marano:For attendance purposes, please note that I am also attending for
Brian Winterfeldt.

  Nathalie Peregrine:Noted, thank you!

Anne Aikman-Scalese:I am in Adobe but have no sound yet for some reason

Nathalie Peregrine:Anne, the AC audio is working

Nathalie Peregrine:Would you like us to dial out to you in order for you to
hear on the audio bridge?

Alan Greenberg:I tried turning on my speaker and there is audio...

Mary Wong:All, please mute your mics when you are not speaking.

Anne Aikman-Scalese:Nathalie, please dial out to me at
520-629-4428<tel:520-629-4428> Thank you

Nathalie Peregrine:@ Anne, yes right away

ebw:i'm called away for a child.

Mary Wong:Please only have one set of speakers/audio on at the same time to
avoid echoes.

Anne Aikman-Scalese:I'm in the call now - thank you. Anne

  Nathalie Peregrine:excellent!

Maureen Cubberley:i agree. (voting function not functioning this end)

Chuck Gomes:Note that Maureen on on the call.

Marika Konings:The question for the WG is how many sub-teams you want to have
running simultanously. We already noticed that it was difficult to convene the
0B subteam due to other activities.

Maureen Cubberley:sorry, the tel line dropped out. Bell Canada :)

Amr Elsadr:Technically, the Definitions sub-team still has a little less than
a week. We might not need more than one more call.

  Chuck Gomes:Agree with Marika

  kristina rosette:apologies for joining late

Alan Greenberg:They were not lost. This list is pre-BA

  Alan Greenberg:I think

Marika Konings:@Alan, this is the updated version I circulated yesterday. We
did capture all the terms provided in BA during the call on Monday.

  ebw:back

  Alan Greenberg:ok. Sorry.

Amr Elsadr:From what I can tell, the list of definitions is only missing the
terms we hadn't agreed to include just yet. We should probably provide a
rationale for our decisions.

  Michael:@Amr -- definitely, and agreed.

Nathalie Peregrine:the operator is on it

EnCirca - Tom Barrett:@chuck. i was referring to a bias in the gnso pdp
manual, not in what you had developed

EnCirca - Tom Barrett:@michael I agree. i see this more effort focused more
on the processes of staff as opposed to the GNSO.

Nathalie Peregrine:He is showing connected n the bridge

  J. Scott Evans:alan are you on the bridge?

Alan Greenberg:Yup. Was away for a moment.

Marie-laure Lemineur:I have not seen it either. I am wondering if I have
missed it...

  Amr Elsadr:OK. Thanks Chuck.

  Marie-laure Lemineur:thanks Chuck

Marika Konings:We sent letters at the beginning to the SO/ACs as well as
ICANN Board, but no specific request for input was prepared for the SG/Cs

ebw:there are other interested parties, the technical liaisons and the
organizations from which they originate may have input on this.

ebw:someone (staff) can read my comment into the audio record. (supra)

Amr Elsadr:@Marika: Emails to the SG/C Chairs would be helpful in getting the
feedback the WG needs.

Chuck Gomes:See ALAC summary item 4

Marika Konings:@Amr - agreed. I think it is just something that slipped our
minds as everyone was very focused on moving forward.

Marika Konings:To clarify, this is not a Board requested initiative

Marika Konings:This effort was initiated by the GNSO Council

Marika Konings:and is focusing on GNSO aspects of the policy & implementation
spectrum

Amr Elsadr:@Marika: No worries. I was just confused. I was worried that I was
supposed to take the request to my SG/C, and hadn't done so. :)

Alan Greenberg:Regarding AMr's question about whether the questions went to
the GNSO SG/Const leader.s I have not checked the GNSO COuncil mailing list,
but I would be surprized if Jonathan had not forwarded the request to the
entire Council and possible to the SG/Const leaders.

ebw:there are other interested parties, the technical liaisons and the
organizations from which they originate may have input on this.ebw: someone
(staff) can read my comment into the audio record. (supra)

Marika Konings:@Alan - the request may have only gone to the other SO/ACs,
not the GNSO Council

  ebw:in the chat box

  ebw:thanks

Alan Greenberg:@Marika, yes, I understand, but normally Jonathan will forward
such things on as well.

Amr Elsadr:@Alan: I don't know if Jonathan received the request for input or
not, but I did confirm with the NCSG/NCUC chairs. No requests were received.

Alan Greenberg:Ahh, are you saying it didn't got to Jonathan??

  Amr Elsadr:I can't confirm that. :)

Marika Konings:@Alan - I can check the emails, but it may have only gone to
the other SO/AC Chairs

EnCirca - Tom Barrett:I dont see any posting on the gnso mailing list

Marika Konings:as the assumption may have been that input from the GNSO would
come via the WG itself?

ebw:chuck: we don't know if the ccnso has a "policy vs implementation"
interest. for all we know thay may have been excieted about idns, but not that
keen on how idns were implemented, independent of g/cc space.

  ebw:unless we ask them.

Olga Cavalli:has any rquest has been sent to the GAC?

  Marika Konings:@Olga - yes

Marika Konings:'deadline' for input was 30 November

  Olga Cavalli:to the GAC CHair?

Marika Konings:@ebw, request for input did also go to the ccNSO

  Marika Konings:@Olga - yes

  ebw:thank you markia

Marika Konings:We can send a reminder to those groups that have not responded
yet.

Olga Cavalli:could you resnd to me?

Marika Konings:@Olga - yes, I will forward it to you.

Michael:I think being as open, inviting participation as strongly and
repeatedly as possible, responding in writing to all submissions, comments,
etc., and working towards Devliverables for comment by the Public as well as
GNSO and GNSO council, we do as much as possible to address ALAC concern.
@Alan -- What more would address (if not satisfy) ALAC concerns?

Alan Greenberg:At one point there was a discussion within the GNSO about
including SG/Coonst leadership on the Council list, but the idea was rejected.

Alan Greenberg:@J. Scott, the hands are automatically ordered based on when
they are raised.

Michael:@Chuck -- I agree totally with follow-up and outreach proposal.

Marika Konings:Next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday 18 December.

  J. Scott Evans:Thanks Alan

Marika Konings:As 2 weeks after that would be 1 January, the proposal would
be that the meeting after the 18 December would take place on 8 January.

Brian Winterfeldt:I am happy to serve as liaison to the Council!

Amr Elsadr:Brian beat me to it. :)

Brian Winterfeldt:I look forward to working with Amr to serve in that role!

  Brian Winterfeldt:Thank you!

  Amr Elsadr:Sounds great.

  Cheryl Langdon-Orr:::-}

  ebw:thanks and bye!

Cheryl Langdon-Orr:thanks all... talk on the 18th bye

  Marie-laure Lemineur:thanks

  Mary Wong:Thank you everyone.

  J. Scott Evans:Goodbye and thanks all for your time

  Maureen Cubberley:thank you.

  Phil Marano:Thank you!
