Thanks Marika for revising both of these documents in a very timely manner.
I especially encourage those who were unable to participate in yesterday's
call to review the changes agreed to in yesterday's meeting and highlighted
in the principles document to submit any comments you may have on the list.

 

Marika - with regard to the work plan, for June 2, the publication deadline
for the London meeting, please add the action item of publishing the then
current state of our work for Deliverable 1.

Dear All,

 

Following yesterday's Policy & Implementation Working Group meeting, please
find attached the latest version of the proposed working principles in which
previous edits/comments reviewed and discussed have been accepted / removed,
and changes made as a result of yesterday's meetings are redlined. Please
note that a small group of volunteers was tasked to try and reconcile
principles D.1 b-d based on yesterday's discussion. As soon as proposed new
language is available, this will be shared with the mailing list. 

 

Also attached is the revised work plan as discussed and agreed during
yesterday's meeting.

 

Please note that the next meeting of the Working Group has been scheduled
for Wednesday 30 April at 19.00 UTC. The WG hopes to be able to finalise the
working principles during that meeting and commence deliberations on
Deliverable I - Propose process for developing gTLD and other ICANN policy
in the form of GNSO "Policy Development Process" and "Policy Guidance" and
propose criteria for determining when each would be appropriate.
