I think that would help Marika....when you do a simple Google search (which one is apt to do when one is totally frustrated with the ICANN website search function) you wind up at the Wikispace. Fellows also indicated that they have a hard time figuring out where to look. Labelling the wikispace as finished, and heading the page with a link to the final report would really help. I hate to suggest more work for you folks in policy because I know how hard you are already working, I think this is really an information management function that should be turned over to our librarian/archivist team.
cheers Stephanie

And I probably should have added that the wiki space should be seen as the work space of the WG – the authoritative space for any GNSO documents is the GNSO web-site - maybe that is something we can make more clear on the wiki site (as well as archiving those wiki pages of groups that have completed their efforts).

Hi Stephanie,

All final work products are posted on the GNSO web-site under the active projects heading (http://gnso.icann.org/en/group-activities/active). The Final Policy & Implementation WG report can be found here: http://gnso.icann.org/en/group-activities/active/policy-implementation together with all other milestone documents.

Best regards,

Marika

I was browsing through the working group wiki, looking for our final report. I will admit to finding the ICANN website a maze that defeats me at times (to be more accurate, at most times). I could only find our redline version....I wonder, if someone forgot what had happened to the report, and they searched the ICANN site for it, would they find our final report, or the redline version which leaves one wondering what happened to it? I ask this partly because the issue of finding final reports came up at the NCSG/NCUC meetings we recently had in Marrakech....some of our next gen new members said they were having a hard time navigating the site, weaving through dead links, and figuring out the status of groups. Perhaps we need finding aids for our archived materials and completed processes....
Kind regards, Stephanie Perrin

FYI. Note that three key implementation action items as Mary says below have been completed.

I would like to encourage all of us to be diligent about reminding members of the ICANN community that our recommendations have been approved by the Board. I was surprised the last two days in Marrakech to hear two different Board members make statements indicating that the policy vs. implementation issue was still unresolved and I took the opportunity in each case to set the record straight. Also, someone (I do not remember who at the moment) yesterday made a great suggestion to me: that comments be submitted in the comment period for the proposed CCWG Framework recommendation that the P&I WG recommendations for the GNSO be added as applicable to the CCWG Framework. I plan to encourage the RySG to do this in their comments. Some of you may want to consider doing something similar in your groups. In the CWG Stewardship Implementation session yesterday afternoon the need for this in CCWGs became very evident.

Dear Chuck,

I just wanted to follow up on your question the other day, about the Board adoption of the Bylaws and related changes recommended by the Policy & Implementation Working Group.

The Board approved all the recommendations at its 28 September 2015 meeting, following the close of the requisite public comment period: https://www.icann.org/resources/board-material/resolutions-2015-09-28-en#2.f

The Bylaws have now been updated and published: https://www.icann.org/resources/pages/governance/bylaws-en#AnnexA1

The GNSO Operating Procedures have also been updated and published: http://gnso.icann.org/en/council/procedures

I hope this helps!

Cheers

Mary
