Steven
Thanks for that
Maybe a revision than - we concentrate only on RAA amendmentsand
anything that belongs in the Charter goes to Team A.I have had a look
through most of the SAC Advisories (for other purposes) but am happy
to review.
And I think the compliance issues stay with Team B as well

Holly, thanks for this useful set of notes.
However, the subteam to which Doug and Danny's comments submissions
were directed is not the group working on the registrants' rights
charter. The charter is with subteam A (I copy Beau who is
coordinating that). Subteam B is working on topics for amendments
to the RAA. Some of these could deal directly with registrant
rights, others would not ,and some certainly would fall in the
category of additional requirements on registrars.
I agree that the SSAC advisories could be a good source of topics.
I suspect we do not have anyone from SSAC on our subteam. Would
anyone be in a position to look through these? I note from http://
www.icann.org/en/committees/security/ssac-documents-by-category.htm
that there are actually only 3 advisories (along with 6 reports)
that deal with registration services, that would at least be the
place to start.

HI Everyone
I have had a look at the comments so far - largely from Doug and
Danny - thanks to both. I have done just a short set of notes to
move the discussion along. The intention is to first ask what are
we doing. Looking at the input, there are issues that might fit
into the Charter we are supposed to be working on - but a lot of
important issues that look more like requirements on registrars.
And I've grouped the issues into three categories
First - compliance what does it mean, what are the penalties and
costs, and what is provided for in the RAA
Next - suggestions on issues that might fir into a Rights charter
finally - issues that look more like additional requirements on
registrars
And a suggestion - should be go through the SAC advisories as well
to see what else might be picked up?
Happy reading
Kind regards
