Thanks, Berry. This is an interesting phenomenon, and one that I've
experienced with some personal names recently. So, since "bladel" isn't
a registered mark, can we presume that the slammers are not mining
trademark databases, and just fishing for any second-level gTLD strings?
As to the recommendation for a PDP, I disagree that this is the
appropriate path forward. Nearly all of the targeted names include
ccTLDs (CN seems popular), which are outside the realm of ICANN. And if
the slammers move in to gTLDs, then why would existing policy
(specifically, UDRP) not be effective versus to this behavior?
Thanks--
J.

Attached is the first draft of the Slamming Issue, Recommendation, &
Example. Due to its similarity with Fake Renewal Notices, I modeled
the report similarly as well. So that we can move through the
remainder of public & constituency comments in tomorrow?s meeting, I
recommend we review the Slamming material at the 4/26 meeting. Please
let me know if you have questions, comments or edits. Thank you.
