Article X, Section 5, Stakeholder Groups, Item 1

XX, Section 5 of these Bylaws (link TBD):
a. Registry Stakeholder Group representing all gTLD registries
under contract to ICANN and including as observers organisations
who wish to become Registries;
b. Registrar Stakeholder Group representing all registrars
accredited by and under contract to ICANN and including as
observers resellers;
c. Commercial Stakeholder Group representing the full range of
large and small commercial entities of the Internet;
d. Non-Commercial & Individual Stakeholder Group representing the
full range of non-commercial entities of the Internet and members
of the at-large community; and
Each Stakeholder Group is assigned a specific number of Council
seats in accordance with Section 3(1) of this Article (link TBD).
with Section 3(1) of this Article (link TBD). in accordance with
Section 3(1) of this Article (link TBD).
Q11. In a, should the added text “and including as observers
organisations who wish to become Registries;” be retained?
No. Presumably all SGs are open to observation by the entire public
(including those who wish to join the SG).
Q12 In b, should the added text “and including as observers
resellers; “ be retained?
No, so same reason as above.
Q13 In d, should the added text “and members of the at-large
community” be retained.
No. And also we are the "Non-Commercial Stakeholder Group" (not the
"Non-Commercial and Individual SG" as it says above - so that needs
to be corrected in the text).
Thanks,
