Kristian,
As someone in North America I do not object to a call being scheduled during
my ?normal working hours.? However, if ICANN is to achieve its goal of One
World, One Internet, Everyone Connected we as a group may want to allow
those participants from the Asian Pacific Region (where a couple of billion
people reside) to participate during their working hours? They should not
have to exclusively give up sleep and family time to participate in ICANN
policy development.
As co-chair of the High Security Zone Advisory Group it has been my opinion
that rotating start times provide for increased participation from all parts
of the world. While this has limited the maximum participation on some
calls, it has driven the group to get more work done via the WIKI and
mailing list in a more asynchronous style.
My final two cents on the topic, although I will let any Asian Pacific
participants advocate this issue on their own behalf.
Best regards.
Michael

I agree that it should be the same day and time every week.
I would propose the time to be 15:00 UTC. That way it would be in normal
working hours for both America, Europe and most of Africa. And better than
the time today for Asia/pacific.
Kind regards

Folks,
During the call, Eric has raised the issue of the time being inconvenient
for Asia Pacific.
May I ask if anybody has problems with calls on Tuesdays 16:30 UTC, for 60'
or 90'?
You can also reply privately.
If there is some problem, we might consider two different times (and maybe
two different days of the week, if necessary) to make sure that we do not
make it inconvenient always for the same people.
Cheers,
Roberto
