Unfortunately, about half of the hypos in that post attempt to
associate a name to some resource that isn't a publicly routeable
network endpoint identifier. There may be lookup systems which, when
given a "name" return a AMEX_ID or a COMCAST_ID or a ... but they're
not the public DNS.
