VI Team,

I agree with polling, but I also believe the type of poll questions are
premature. Instead, we should be asking more general questions. For example,

1. Do you agree with the boards latest position of 0CO and strict separation?

2. Do you prefer to maintain 0CO and strict separation going forward?

3. Do you agree with partial cross ownership and strict separation for new
gTLDs? Existing TLDs?

4. Do agree with full cross ownership and relaxing strict separation?

5. Do you agree that changes should be made to accommodate SR?

6. Etc...... I am sure there are many more general questions.

I do believe this type of temperature gauging across the group will be useful.
I also agree that the poll should indicate the poll taker's affiliation per
Jeff Neuman's comment below.

Thoughts?

Thank you

Let me second (third?) this motion as well. I do think it will be
helpful to collect the opinions regarding the various proposals for an
early assessment of positions, but there still needs to be a lot of
discussion regarding the various positions before we can come to an
actual vote.

I see a lot of merit in Janniks proposal. Like JC said: Less process
more substance!

Best regards,

Volker
