hi all,

my initial thought is that the agenda for Monday is simple -- do what we can to 
broaden the areas of agreement, with a special focus on the percentage 
ownership and control "gating items."

Eric, is there a way that you could weave your proposed item into comments 
during that broader discussion?  time on these next few calls is going to be 
precious and i'm cautious about topics that reduce time-available for that main 
conversation.  

in a similar vein, i'd like to keep the "face-to-face-meeting-in-Brussels" 
discussion on the list this week rather than consume call time on it.  as with 
Eric's proposal, i'm open to course-corrections.  but i think this is the time 
to bear down and see how far we can get towards a position that we can take 
forward to Brussels and beyond.
