With respect, Stephane, that is why we do a roll call . But more importantly, 
no one should be making statements about another's position - particularly when 
the one spoken about cannot respond.  I'm simply asking for appropriate 
decorum. Nothing more.

Ron, Sorry to stick my oar in but that's a rather tall order for the co-chairs 
isn't it? How can they know when someone's available to respond or not? The 
only way I see to achieve what you seem to be asking is to stifle every 
conversation...
