I agree with Palage.
And as surprising as immediate consolidation in the CNO market is,
made "increased competition" by more registries in theory capable of
approximating the market penetration of BIZ and INFO, within a decade
or so, the thought of allowing the incumbent monopoly to act without
restraint, not just in the 2011 round, but in every subsequent round,
is difficult to reconcile with the notion of transforming a monopoly
market to a competitive market. Yes, there will be non-monopoly
product, celebrated by niche users everywhere, but the standard
product will remain the monopoly product.
