Subject: Recommendation 19.
Liz,
Please read this out at the gNSO meeting this afternoon in my absence;
“The Registrars Constituency are currently reviewing a draft of the
Impact Statement based on discussions stemming from this meeting.
We apologise for not having delivered it in a timely manner
however, we will provide it to the group shortly.
Having said that, we would like to comment specifically on
Recommendation 19.
Whilst the wording is somewhat ambiguous with respect to the
statement (i.e. Registries must ALWAYS use ICANN accredited
Registrars, Registries must use ONE or ALL ICANN accredited
Registrars etc) the Registrar Constituency would like to state for
the record that we are currently engaged in discussions with the
Registry Constituency around this point and may wish to suggest/
make a change in the near future.
We are happy to keep the wording as is right now based on this
premise”.
Regards,
Adrian Kinderis
