It appears to me that the wording of IP-R may need a little tweaking. It
says, "Once formal objections or disputes are accepted for discussion
there will be a cooling off period to allow parties to resolve the issue
before the dispute or objection before discussion is initiated. By
mutual agreement of the parties, the period may either be ended or
extended." Here's my suggestion for rewording of the first sentence for
your consideration with changes in caps: "Once formal objections or
disputes are accepted for REVIEW there will be a cooling off period to
allow parties to resolve the (DELETE 'issue before the') dispute or
objection before (DELETE 'discussion') review by the panel is
initiated."
I believe that the edits I suggest are consistent with what we agreed to
today, but please tell me if you think they are not.
