It is amazing to me that once again this effort to segregate the Internet, is before ICANN.

Simply because someone thought they could make a large pile of cash, at the expense of free speech, and personal freedom, is rather amazing. This effort is merely to gain money, and to pretend to be satisfying the genuine concern of some parents, about what their children see online.

Truth is, the monitoring of what is viewed online, should not be the responsibility of ICANN or any other organization, but should be the Parent's sole obligation. Use of proper filters, software such as MS browser features, are far better at controlling what a minor might view online, than in segregating the adult community behind some '*get-rich quick*' scheme.

Nor is this really just about hiding some naughty pictures, or inappropriate content from minors. IF this XXX TLD was allowed to go through, it would also *LIMIT* the scope of serious topics, that have nothing to do with pornography. Issues like peer groups that deal with Rape, Racism, Sexual Harassment, etc. would be forced behind this TLD, making them difficult to promote, or to be viewed.

This is nothing more than a *blatant attempt at censorship*, at penalizing hard working webmasters, who have families to support, like anyone else. This segregation attempt, has clearly been denounced since its first conception, and it is time that ICANN simply put an end to it, once and for all.

If we truly believe in *NET NEUTRALITY*, then a TLD such as XXX has no part in it. Adding the TLD to the options, along with all that it means, is no different than when the *Nazi's* forced all of the /Jewish Faith/ to wear *yellow Stars of David*, for easy identification, and subsequent *persecution*.

Not the type of Internet I would like to see.
