I am opposed to the proposal for net agreement renewal

I am opposed to the proposal for net agreement renewal for two main reasons:

1. This should be put out to competitive tender. As it stands Verisign have
a monopoly on this. Alternative proposals must be sought from other
interested parties.
2. It seems odd, to say the least, that under the proposed agreement it
seems that Verisign will be allowed to increase the registration price by
10% per year (section 7.3.a). I'm sure that providing the registry service
is already very profitable for them without any price increases.

Please do not renew this contact as proposed.
