Avri,
Per discussion with you yesterday, I think I was on the task force,
however was not active on the calls, due to the issues I mentioned
occurred in my country. While it was not easy to do the fast
track, I have had a change to catch up with the issues, especially
while here.
Please note that I am interested further in participating,
including if you need assistant on the areas you mentioned below.
As such, if you would allow me, as Chair of the task force to vote,
I would be voting the same as you on all areas with abstention on
5a.1.
Thank you.
Sophia

I recommend that we tentatively schedule a meeting for 30 January to
cover any issues that we don't close on 23 January.
Additionally regarding ToR 5a, where we need to recommend the
elements of a policy of data collection:
I would like to see how much of a recommendation we can craft before
the 16 January meeting so that there would be a draft to start the
discussion from. There are several ways we could work on this
without having to involve staff:
- discuss the issue on this mailing list
- use an online editing tool
- put together an informal 'rapporteur group of the willing'
to work up a proposal during this period.
if people are intersted in this one, i am willing to organize it.
i figure that since i would probably have to attend anyway, i
might as well organize it -
of course unless someone else wants to organize it.
- a combination of the above.
Please let me know what works for you all.
thanks
a.
