Hello,
as the registrars have mentioned a number of times, they will not be
able to forward 100% of the price increase to the registrants,
especially when a domain name is part of a package.
Also, when the domain price is 3 USD which would be the case would the
.com registry be rebid, you can be certain that the size of the .com
zone will grow siugnificantly.
