Monopolies raising prices is hard to justify.
On a related topic, you need to allow 'returns' for fraudulent
purchases. Sticking the registrar, or in this case reseller, with
no-return policy is not fair or appropriate.
We all use credit cards, and we don't catch them all within five days.
You must allow us to return to reduce fraud and to keep from penalizing
resellers. It is an electronic transaction, just reverse it. No other
business operates this way.
