Settlement Opposition

I am writing to you in opposition to the approval of the agreement between 
ICANN and Verisign.

We write on behalf of our clients and other businesses in our region and 
feel that the agreement should not be approved as it now stands.

All price increases should be approved by the Internet community as a whole 
and should be done on a cost recovery basis only.       Pricing increases 
such as those offered in this agreement are nothing more than a money grab 
on a component of the Internet that is so vital to its operation that no 
single commercial entity should be in total control over it.
