Settlement Comment

This agreement, and the subsequent end to the litigation and its accompanying 
high costs, is a good idea for all involved.  The relatively low increase in 
costs associated with this move is a small price to pay for the corresponding 
increase in available funds to ICANN to fund technological advances.  
Longstanding disputes only benefit the attorneys involved, and they have never 
been beneficial to the consumers and business owners who stand to lose the most.

ICANN?s board should ratify this agreement so that it can return to providing 
its customers with the best service possible, while ending this needless 
litigation and preventing similar delays in the future.
