ICANN/VeriSign Agreement

First off, this settlement makes the Internet stronger and I and millions of 
users around the world will be better off not to mention that the price of 
$6 for a domain name is a steal.  Have you been to the gas pumps lately?  
Secondly, the ICANN board should step up and show the world that they can 
operate and maintain their own matters.  The UN would love to see this fall 
apart.  Kofi Anan and the rest of them would love to have their hands on 
this.  It would give them an oppourtunity to raise billions more to create 
new agencies, control content, and throw lavish conferences all on the backs 
of small business and Internet users.  Finally, get this settled here and 
now, and keep the UN out of it.
