Hi,

Thank you very much Karla for all of these documents and for the work that has 
gone into them.

As recommended during the meeting I am writing to ask every one to please read 
this version of the Recommendations document very carefully.  

And please comment.  In your comments please refer to line numbers and please 
offer alternate wording if at all possible.  Pay special attention to any 
bracketed text that contains several possible wordings.

Personally, I have been hesitant to call consensus yet, and to mark the 
document that way, because we have only done one post english-comments walk 
through of the document and given that only a few of the people on the list 
have been on the calls, we cannot be sure to what degree we have consensus yet. 
 During these sessions a lot of wording changes were made, and until people 
read them as part of the whole, it is hard to be sure if they agree. So for me 
to feel comfortable declaring where the consensus point lies, I need to see 
what comments we get on the list and then have another walkthrough, hopefully a 
much quicker one, of the document. 

It is sort of a process I find works:

a. walk through the comments, 
b. walk through the doc, 
c. 2nd walk through the comments knowing what has changed in the doc
d. 2nd walk through the doc knowing what the comments say and what has not been 
dealt with yet. 
e. final reviews and consensus call.

All before the 13th! Thus the need to do a lot of work on the list.

We also need to remain aware that we have not yet dealt with any non-english 
language comments that may be coming in.

My suggestion for the next call is to work through section _3.3 Summary of 
comment and WG discussion_ of the Addenda.  I also recommend that people check 
their SOI statements as listed in the doc and get any changes to Glen and 
Karla.  I recommend that every one read through the comments in section 3.3. 
before the meeting and introduce any issue you might have with the response on 
the list. 

And please remember Elaine's request - get your comments in 24 hours before the 
meeting if at all possible - though I realize how hard that is.
