As you note, the current scoring appears to make strings of only a
character or more longer than two impossible for community applications.
It would be clearer if the string length were type specific, e.g.,
if 2, then a ccTLD,
if 3, or 4, or 5 then a gTLD
if many than community, and with universal resolvability problems, a
la .museum in 2001.
