Greetings!  And a big "Thanks!" to Sebastien for subscribing to your mailing
list.  I requested a subscription about three months ago, but I'm only
getting it today, after I spoke with Sebastien, following our board-GAC
teleconference earlier today (Fri.).  Maybe the list managers wanted to
screen my application before letting me in;-)

At any rate, I'm looking forward to the dialog, although I only expect to be
an observer.  Thanks for having me, and please keep up the great work you're
doing.
