Extension of Initial Comment Period

In response to requests for an extension of time for comments on the initial 
consultation on the July 2008 - June 2010 Strategic
Plan, the comment forum will remain open until Friday 24 August.  Members of 
the community are reminded that this initial comment
forum is the first of many opportunities to contribute to the development of 
the ICANN Strategic Plan.  An issues paper will be
posted at the conclusion of this initial comment period and further comment 
will be sought.  Details of the planning process can be
found at http://www.icann.org/planning/.
